Championing Sustainability at PDX

As sustainability architect on the Concourse E Extension project at Portland International Airport (PDX), Pooja led this project to LEED Gold. Daylighting, smart sensors, automated shades, and fritted glass amount to a 70% reduction in energy use for lighting. The solar-ready roof, recycled material use, and 98% construction waste reduction are just a few fun facts to think of when waiting for your flight.
